Wait List Closed Until April 30

As some of you have read on my personal blog, my husband and I are buying a home and are in the process of moving. So, with the move on top of my full-time job, I need to close the waiting list until we get settled. At this point I am going to try to reopen the list on April 30 but I will keep you posted if I am able to open it between now and then!

New Look, New Prices!

Hi Friends! I have been busy this weekend updating the look of Bluebird for a fresh, brighter look in hopes that spring will soon be on its way! I have also slashed some prices - check out the new pricing structure! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Snow!

Well, the southern blizzard of 2010 has hit NC and we are truly snowed/iced in! Here is a picture taken from INSIDE our apartment... but boy are we stuck!



Friday night, it snowed almost 7-8 inches, and then yesterday it sleeted on top of that. So, we are dealing with ice on TOP of snow. Yuck! Today I am going to try to venture out to Target and actually get out for a bit, but we'll see.... the roads still look pretty bad.

Did you get any snow? I bet you northerners are laughing at me being "stuck" in 7 inches of snow.... :)

Different name, same great blog design!

New name, new look for 2010! Yes, this is the former Pickle Pickle Design Studio. I was never crazy about the name Pickle Pickle, and had originally, several months ago, wanted to name it Bluebird Design Studio, but the domain was already taken. Well, I checked again last night, and the domain was available again! So, here we are. A fresh new name and a fresh new look for 2010.

I've also changed the pricing structure and will be offering some fun items in the near future. Contact me with any questions!

Help for Haiti

Hello sweet friends. We have all heard the news of what is happening in Haiti. It has been on my heart and mind all day and I am praying constantly for the people of Haiti and for all those who have a connection to Haiti. I pray that something good will come out of this devastating situation.



The organization Compassion has been on my heart ever since Kelly went to El Salvador as a Compassion Blogger. I would love to sponsor a child but it is just not in our monthly budget and that in itself makes me so frustrated. BUT-----

Through the month of January, I will be donating 50% of every blog makeover order I receive to Compassion. I chose Compassion because they assist more than 65,000 children in Haiti, and over 6,000 of those children are in Port-au-Prince. This organization has spoken to my heart and are assisting in the aid relief for Haiti. So, help a good cause and get a makeover at the same time. Or, just run over to Compassion and donate on your own. All I know is, we need to help Haiti.
